Bolton Access TV Awarded Pandemic Recovery Grant from Mass Cultural Council

BOLTON, MA - Bolton Access TV, a local community television station servicing Bolton, MA, has been awarded a pandemic recovery grant in the amount of $15,670 from the Mass Cultural Council.

The grant is part of the Mass Cultural Council’s COVID-19 Relief Fund, which was created to support individuals and organizations in the cultural sector who have been adversely impacted by the pandemic. Bolton Access TV applied for the grant to help support its ongoing programming and to ensure that it could continue to provide essential services to the Bolton community.

“We are thrilled to receive this grant from the Mass Cultural Council,” said Nicki McGachey, Executive Director of Bolton Access TV. “The pandemic presented us with an array of challenges, and as a 501(c)3 non-profit we weren’t eligible for a lot of the pandemic assistance that was available to other businesses and organizations. But this grant will help us cover some of the costs we incurred due to the pandemic and continue to serve the community.”

Bolton Access TV provides residents with access to local news, government meetings, events, and educational programming. It is a vital resource for the town of Bolton, providing citizens and local organizations with a platform to share their stories and stay informed about their community.

“We are grateful for the support of the Mass Cultural Council during this challenging time,” said McGachey. “This grant will help us to continue to provide high-quality programming to the Bolton community and to support the local cultural sector.”

We also regularly record Conservation, Planning, and Economic Development meetings, which we try to have uploaded by 48 hours after the meeting. Additionally we film other meetings as requested, such as the recent Mosquito Response Meeting.
